May and June
Almost 3 years to the day after getting my 4th 02, I have finally got it legally on the road. It runs good and starts up fine. The suspension and steering needs some work, as do the brakes. But just being able to drive it seems to be helping it along. Yes, the body work isn't the greatest and it still needs a lot of work. In order to take care of the bad filler job I will be getting the trunk, hood and doors off my parts car. I just need to sand and paint them.
Here is what happened in May.

No muffler.

First white, then bronze, now Charcoal Metallic.

Here it is after getting the bumpers installed.

Glass Pack, 31"

This had me a little nervous going so close to hot things. I'll be rerouting it.

Bumper ends definately complete the look of the car, having bumpers without them
just looks odd.

Here is a shot of the FlameThrower and the dizzy and 8mm wires.

Missing the rubber piece that goes between the body and the bumper.

Got this driver's seat from Keith, it was much better than the torn one I had
and it has already had the horse hair removed and foam added.

With no fan on the water pump I don't have to worry about the radiator getting
trashed. The 10" electric pusher on the front cools it good, never getting above
half.
Now for June.

The tierod boots are toast, I'll be replacing these with the urethane type.

I found the cause of the creaky steering, the whitish disk that is in between
the steering arm and center linkage is bad. I'll be replacing that too.

The control arm bushings on both sides are shot and make the car feel very
loose, also on the list.

Hopefully this will take some stress off of the exhaust manifold.

Here are the new parts I got to take care of the issues with the car. They
include new brake shoes for the rear (for later on), calipers, urethane front
and rear kit, idler arm bushings, and urethane tierod boot replacements.

Once I figure out which of these goes where I'll post it here to help everyone
out.
